ClinImpact
The environmental footprint of one surgical procedure: the products used and their materials, the medication and anaesthetic gases, sterilisation, the operating room, waste and transport — each quantity multiplied by a published emission factor, and every figure traceable to the dataset, the method and the version that produced it.

Methods
How each section of a report is calculated: the factor database, drugs and anaesthetic gases, sterilisation, products, room use, waste, transport, spread and costs.
Method review
The same calculations written out for the clinical team, with worked examples, assumptions and the open questions — also as a PDF.
Transparency
Why a published report never changes, what a version carries, what is deliberately not counted, and how a copy is checked against the original.
How to cite
The citation of the software and of a report, and the statements a paper can carry on data availability and reproducibility.
Data and licence
The background database (BAFU:2026), the literature the drug factors come from, their terms of use, and the licence of this software.
Changelog
Every version, and whether its figures are comparable with the one before.
Who it is for
Surgeons and study teams recording what a procedure consumes; hospitals comparing techniques and products; authors who need a figure they can defend in a paper. It is in use in a Belgian hospital study; the current version is 2.11.1.
There is also a test site at test.clinimpact.app, marked as such in the application. Figures from it are not production figures.
